Presentation Day!

Here I am in my office bright and early, preparing to do a presentation in the Doucette Library on blogs. I have been blogging since April 2004 - wow, that's almost three years of blogging. That's a lot of typing. You can see from the picture I posted above how much the blogosphere has grown since June 2004, which is about when I started blogging. Isn't it amazing to think that in my own small way I have contributed to this. I guess that I have helped almost three hundred students start their own blogs since April 2004 . . . and even more amazing, some of them are still blogging! Cool stuff eh . . . maybe teachers do make a difference?

Hey Scott!

I'm really sorry I missed the lecture. I wanted to go, but of course I had to work, which I never want to do! But I think that the blogging you ask your students to do is very important; and as you said, it's a way to work without really working!!1
Talk to you later!

Wow! I had no idea about the numbers! Good for you Scott! See what one innovative idea can do? You really made difference. Thank you for showing me into the world of BLOG. I almost want to add- "Zorg" or "Flomm" to the end of every word BLOG because it sounds like some alien name....
Anyways keep up the typing! This is an excellent communication tool!

mmmh i've seen that image elsewhere... LOL

scott, i really like the work you've been doing forcing ur students to comunicate having their own blog. in fact this theory made me start developing a web application to help both teachers and students to have a blogging community. this web app. could be installed inside a college network or in a public internet domain. it's still in planning phase (i'm with several projects). i hope it will help to integrate technology and learning. and FUN.
